Easy Trek Bitless Leather Bridle – Quality Black Leather

These beautifully crafted, high-quality leather bridles feature a soft padded browband and noseband for enhanced comfort, paired with durable stainless steel buckles for a secure fit.

Voted by YOUR HORSE as one of the best bitless bridles, this bridle is designed for the horse’s comfort and the rider’s confidence.

Why Choose Bitless?

  • More natural and lightweight feel for the horse
  • Improves breathing – no pressure on the tongue or airway
  • Eliminates the risk of pain or damage to the horse’s mouth
  • Allows horses to eat and drink freely on long rides

Ideal for Horses That:

  • Have a sensitive mouth
  • Head toss, jog, or resist the bit
  • Lean on or play with the bit
  • Are ridden by inexperienced riders who may pull on the mouth
  • Are young and being backed for the first time
  • Have become hard-mouthed or evade the bit

Fitting Guide

Use the same size as your current bitted bridle. For example:

  • If your horse wears a Pony size bridle, choose “Pony” size
  • If your horse wears a Cob size bridle, choose “Cob” size
  • And so on for Full or Draft sizes

Important Note on Bit Evasion

Bit evasion or mouth discomfort can be caused — often unintentionally — by pressure from a bitted bridle. Riders may not realise the discomfort they are causing.

Most horses, regardless of age, adapt readily to bitless bridles without requiring specialised training. Some may need a short adjustment period to understand new cues. We recommend lunging first, then riding in an enclosed area until your horse becomes familiar with the new, more natural feel of riding without a bit.

In most cases, horses settle quickly and respond positively to the freedom and comfort a bitless bridle provides.
