Colly is a 7 year old Holsteiner Warmblood, she was broken as a 5yo and is still very green.
I fell in love with Colly August 2021, she moved in around September time. We have been building our bond ever since but with winter, getting the work in was a struggle.
Colly came with her Amerigo Dressage saddle, which I loved very much, but was a bit too nice for everyday use. I also found it a little too stiff to ride in and as I’m very short, struggled with the straight flaps.
Colly has a slightly high wither, and I didn’t really have a spare grand or so to invest in a second hand saddle that may not fit. I saw Easytrek online and was absolutely hooked. I didn’t believe that a treeless saddle could look so normal.
I have previously ridden in treeless racing saddles, so knew what to expect and loved the close contact. I was amazed that Easytrek offered a 14 day trial, full refund if it didn’t work out and that it could also be paid in installment’s on their website, there was nothing to lose!
I have not looked back and neither has Colly! We have even had our first little pop of a fence in it and my god is it comfortable!
I have lots of plans for Colly this year to further her education and I’m just so excited to be popping fences and strutting our stuff in our new Easytrek saddle.
If anyone is considering an Easytrek saddle I can honestly say you will not be disappointed, the leather quality is lovely, nor will you ever get a sore bottom again on your long hacks in this, trust me!
